Our Vision
Habakkuk 2:2: And the LORD answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.
God has emblazed a vision on our hearts to make know the wonderful character and nature of our God and declare His awesome deeds. God has magnified His Word above His entire name (Psalm 138:2) and we desire to open the Bible and show all who will listen the glory and beauty of His majestic name. We want people to see plainly just how good God is and to run with the truth of this good news sounding it out around the world. So many people lack a deep knowledge of the heart of the Father God and His faithfulness, mercy, grace and love.
The Goodness of God Ministries wants you to know Him and the power of His strength, His comfort, His refuge and His peace. People do not trust God for they do not know Him and the number one vision of this ministry is to make Him known in all of His splendor and goodness so our hearts will joy in His salvation.
Psalm 86: 9-12: 9 All the nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord; they will bring glory to your name. 10 For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. 11 Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name. 12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
Our vision is always to be a teaching ministry first, expounding the truths of the amazing knowledge and wisdom of God, glorifying His name as we make Him known.
The Bible is a treasure waiting to be discovered, believed and obeyed. The Goodness of God Ministries takes to heart Psalm 119:162: “I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.” God breathed His heart and His life into every word of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.
The Bible is a perfect reflection of God’s heart and contains His purposes, His will, His designs, and His plans.
II Timothy 3:16.17: “Every Scripture is God-breathed, given by His inspiration, and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, and for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action.”
The Bible contains the thoughts of God, the desires of God, the warnings of God, the righteousness of God, the love of God, the judgment of God, the wisdom of God, the salvation of God, and the light of God.
The Bible is the very life of God and is a living book that will abide and live forever.
The Bible is a perfect revelation of the goodness of God. It is the master blueprint for life and contains every principal of truth that a person would ever need to live life in every category to its fullest.
The Bible is the divine instruction book that teaches us how to live His way in power, joy, peace, and love.
The Bible is a revelation of the personality and characteristics of God and paints a true picture of His loving heart. No other book in all the libraries of the world can make these claims, for God is the author of His Word and has breathed everything He is into every word of Scripture. We believe we must diligently study the Bible with all our heart to show ourselves approved to God, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
The Word of God is to grow and blossom in our hearts producing an abundant harvest of spiritual fruit. Goodness of God Ministries plants and sows the seeds of God’s Word into the heart so it can produce good fruit and good works for God’s glory.
Goodness of God Ministries is also concerned to reach out to the world to those in need with the hands and heart of Jesus Christ. We are focusing our resources not only in the United States, but internationally in Ecuador. Our heart is what Jesus taught in the gospel of Matthew:
Matthew 25:35-39 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, 36 I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? 38 And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? 39 And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’
We are working on programs in conjunctions with churches to feed the poor, to help the homeless, to touch the brokenhearted and to help spread the love of Christ around the world.
I John 4:17: But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? 18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.
